COMMON TYPES CURVED WINDOWS
BAY WINDOW
A bay window is a window space projecting outward from the main walls of a building and forming a bay in a room. Bay window is a generic term for all protruding window constructions, regardless of height. The most common inside angles are 90, 135 and 150 degrees, though triangular bays formed of two windows set at 120 degrees may be found.
BOW WINDOW
A bow window is a curved bay window. Bow windows are designed to create space by projecting beyond the exterior wall of a building, and to provide a wider view of the garden or street outside and typically combine four or more casement windows, which join to form an arch.
ARCH WINDOW
An arch window (also known as a radius window) creates a dramatic effect in both contemporary and traditional homes. An arch window can be tall like a casement window or wide like an awning window. In traditional homes, arch windows can be used to create a Victorian-like effect.
TURRET WINDOW
A turret window is very similar to the bow window with the key difference being the angle of the curve. Turrets are traditionally more circular where the bow window generally has a wider open curve. Commonly seen during the Victorian era, turrets, with their many windows, have been a fashionable way to bring extra light and air into a house, as well as a showplace for displaying beautiful pieces of furniture.

Round Wrought Iron Rods
These are hollow round wrought iron curtain rods and they come in the several different diameters and thus can accommodate a range of drapery weights and heights.
Solid Round Curtain Rod
Solid curtain rods that can be curved or bent come only in a few sizes. Keep in mind that these are solid, not hollow, and tend to get very heavy.
Twist Hollow Curtain Rod
Beautiful design, and limited sizes available. These drapery rods are of the twist variety and are hollow in their construction.
Rope Curtain Rod
With the tighter twisted look than the standard twist rod, the details really stand out. You can really make great use of color in the finishes on this rope rod as the design displays contrast of color by allowing the finish to sit down in the grooves of the rope.
Round Hammered Rods
A beautiful round curtain rod that has a hammered texture.
Solid Round Hammered Rod
As with regular solid curtain rods, these come in only a few sizes and tend to get heavy. The hammering provides added texture and depth to an otherwise plain rod.

Wow, what a great combination! Twisted and hammered! This one is our favorite. Just like the standard twist iron rod, it is hollow in construction
